Tapas Kumar Maiti (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India, in 2009. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher with McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, for two years. He spent three years as a Researcher and two years as an Assistant Professor with Hiroshima University, Hiroshima, Japan, where he has been an Associate Professor since 2017.
